 American Cancer Society – Relay for Life
Clearfield Bank & Trust Company has formed a team and set up a booth during relay to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society for several years. Our employees get involved with the Relay in many different ways. Besides having a fundraising booth and walking the track, our employees work behind the scenes. Each year we have several employees volunteer their time to help count the money that is raised and turned in the day of the event. Our employees are proud to help out and raise funds for such a worthy cause. Because in some way or another every volunteer has been touched by cancer and it's a wonderful feeling knowing they took part in helping find a cure.
American Red Cross Blood Drive
Every December, Clearfield Bank & Trust teams up with the Clearfield YMCA to hold a Blood Drive in the YMCA gym. This drive is open to the public and has been know to usually reach goal each year held. In addition to this annual blood drive, Clearfield Bank & Trust sometimes holds a drive by utilizing the Red Cross self contained unit. On these days, donors visit the self contained unit while it is parked in front of our Main Office location.
Big Brothers Big Sisters – Bowl For Kids’ Sake
If you stop by Bowl For Kids’ Sake on any given year, you will see our employees knocking the pins over as they raise funds for the children of Clearfield County. Raising funds and bowling for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program has been something that our employees have been a part of for many years and the employees enjoy every minute of it. Besides raising money to help the children of our community they get a chance to have a day of fun bowling with fellow co-workers and other members of the community. Like they say "It's about helping kids by having fun FUNdraising!"
March of Dimes –March For Babies
March for Babies is the biggest fundraiser for the March of Dimes. Clearfield Bank & Trust Company has been involved with this walk for many years. The logistics & registration for the Clearfield walksite is organized by a committee of Bank employees. Months before the walk takes place, our employees are behind the scenes organizing the event. They obtain donations from local businesses, secure the walksite and inform all team captains about the upcoming events.
If you participate in March for Babies, you are bound to see some of our dedicated employees. Throughout the event, our employees are in charge of making sure everything goes smoothly. Our employees also run the registration and incentive table and count the money that the walkers collect. Last but not least, our Bank also has several Bank employees raise money and walk for healthier babies.
