The current standard maximum deposit insurance amount (SMDIA)is $250,000.  The FDIC coverage limit applies per depositor, per insured depository institution, for each account ownership category. 

Additionally, Clearfield Bank & Trust has elected to opt-in for the unlimited FDIC insurance coverage for non-interest bearing accounts over $250,000.  This program, called the Transaction Account Guarantee Program, runs through December 31, 2010.
